I believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to mental health. Each person’s journey is unique, and finding a path that feels right for you can be deeply empowering and transformative.My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for individual differences. I work alongside my clients to co-create personalised support plans that reflect their values, goals, and lived experiences.
It’s taken me a journey of my own to arrive at this place—one that included moving countries, building life skills from the ground up, and gradually discovering who I am outside of the expectations placed upon me. Rather than blindly following social, cultural, or religious expectations, I’ve learned to question them and shape my life in ways that feel authentic and aligned with who I am.
Humans are inherently shaped by the environments we grow up in—family dynamics, cultural values, past experiences, and religious beliefs all play a powerful role in how we see ourselves and relate to the world. These influences are natural, often unconscious, and sometimes deeply rooted. But without space for reflection, they can quietly direct our lives in ways that may no longer serve us. I believe in the importance of examining these inherited beliefs and patterns—not to reject them entirely, but to understand them, and choose with greater clarity how we want to live.
My work often involves supporting people through trauma, both past and recent, as well as navigating major life transitions—whether it’s migration, identity shifts, relationship changes, or finding your place in a new culture or stage of life. Having lived cross-culturally myself, I understand the emotional complexity that can come with holding multiple cultural identities and the challenges of navigating belonging, identity, and inner stability in unfamiliar environments.With over 10 years of experience following my Master’s in Social Work, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I am committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and tailored mental health care that honours each person’s individuality, while also holding space for the broader social, cultural, and spiritual context we all live within.

저는 정신건강에 있어 ‘모든 사람에게 맞는 하나의 방법’은 없다고 믿습니다. 각자의 여정은 고유하며, 자신에게 맞는 길을 찾는 과정은 깊이 있는 자기 발견이자 변화를 이끄는 힘이 될 수 있습니다.저의 접근 방식은 공감, 협력, 그리고 개인의 차이를 존중하는 태도에 바탕을 두고 있습니다. 저는 내담자와 함께 그들의 가치관, 목표, 그리고 삶의 경험을 반영한 맞춤형 지원 계획을 공동으로 만들어 갑니다.
이러한 자리에 이르기까지 저 역시 저만의 여정을 거쳐 왔습니다.
다른 나라로의 이주, 삶의 기술을 처음부터 다시 쌓아가는 과정, 그리고 사회적‧문화적 기대를 넘어 진정한 ‘나’는 누구인지 발견해 가는 시간이었습니다. 저는 주어진 기대를 무비판적으로 따르기보다는 그것을 의심해 보고, 저 자신에게 진실되고 의미 있는 방식으로 삶을 다시 구성하는 법을 배웠습니다.
인간은 본래 자라온 환경—문화, 가족의 가치관, 공동체의 규범, 과거의 경험—에 의해 형성됩니다. 이 모든 요소들은 우리가 자신과 세상을 바라보는 방식에 깊은 영향을 미칩니다. 이러한 영향은 자연스럽고 때로는 무의식적으로 스며들어 있지만, 저는 그것을 멈추어 돌아보는 시간이 필수적이라고 생각합니다.
그렇지 않으면 우리는 본래의 나와는 맞지 않는 삶을 살거나, 내면 깊이에서 우리를 짓누르는 감정적 짐이나 반복되는 패턴을 계속 지닌 채 살아갈 수도 있습니다.
저는 치료 과정에서 이러한 내면의 층위를 판단 없이, 호기심과 따뜻함으로 함께 들여다볼 수 있는 공간을 제공합니다. 이를 통해 내담자 스스로의 목소리, 가치, 방향성과 다시 연결될 수 있도록 돕고자 합니다.저는 10년 넘게 다양한 배경과 삶의 경험을 가진 분들을 지원해 왔습니다. 각 개인의 고유함을 존중하는 동시에, 우리가 살아가는 더 넓은 사회적‧문화적 맥락 또한 함께 고려하는 섬세하고 따뜻한 정신 건강 돌봄을 제공하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

The practice is located at 9 Flora Street, Greenslopes, QLD 4120. We also offer video or telephone sessions for those who live outside of Brisbane.
